Vance Elementary's three school adopters (Vulcan Materials, Southland International Trucks, and Mercedes Benz USI, met on Wednesday afternoon Sept. 9, to set goals for our students this school year. Some of the highlights include: funding Reader of the Month in each classroom, Job Shadowing at each adopter, Junior Achievement career education for 4th and 5th grades, Prizes for Red Ribbon Week drug education in October and Attendance incentive for spring achievement testing. Vance Elementary's School adopters play a major role in the success of each student.
