Education:  I received my degrees from the University of Alabama

 BS in Commerce and Business Administration

 BA in Elementary Education

 MA in Elementary Education

 A certification in Informational Sciences

 A certification in  Administration                     

I was born in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  My husband, Jamie is from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  We met at the University of Alabama in 1975. Jamie is a history teacher and head wrestling coach at Tuscaloosa County High School.  We have two children Patrick and Kaitlin.  Patrick has just graduated from the University of Alabama. Kaitlin is a senior at Tuscaloosa County High School. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball at the Fresno State University.

Our family enjoys participating and watching sports events.  My husband and son are both power lifting state record holders, Patrick played baseball, football and wrestling in high school. Kaitlin has played basketball, volleyball and softball.

We have three dogs, Saige, a chocolate lab, Sipsey, a black lab and Sadie a pomeranian.

I love watching softball and spending time at the beach.
